Bahman Nasseroleslami received the B.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology, in 2003, and the M.Sc. degree in biomedical engineering from Sharif University of Technology, in 2006. He received his Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering from University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland, UK, in 2013. He was with the Department of Biology, Northeastern University, Boston, MA, USA, as a Postdoctoral Research Associate (2012-2014). He joined Academic Unit of Neurology in Trinity College Dublin, the University of Dublin in 2014.

He is currently an Assistant Professor in Neuroelectric Signal Analysis in MND, and a Principal Investigator / Team Leader in Trinity.

His research focuses on studying motor sub-systems using EEG, EMG, and neurophysiological correlates of neuro-motor activity, as well as diagnostic/prognostic biomarkers, and neural engineering. He has received more than €1,400,000 competitive research funding as Principal Investigator, and €1,100,000 as co-investigator. He is the author of 25 articles (5 as the first author, 13 as the last author) in international peer-reviewed journals.
