Biography

Barry Smyth is Professor and Digital Chair of Computer Science in UCD, Entrepreneur and member of the Royal Irish Academy. Barry’s research interests include case-based reasoning, recommender systems and artificial intelligence.

Barry is interested in working with fellows to apply case-based reasoning, AI and counterfactual approaches to explain and predict clinical events as well as assist in clinical decision making for neurological conditions.
