Giulia Gaggioni is a postdoctoral researcher at Maynooth University. Her background is in human circadian neuroscience, sleep, mental health, and neuroimaging, developed in Universities across Switzerland, Belgium and the UK.
As a MSCA COFUND NeuroInsight research fellow, she investigates light sensitivity, sleep disturbances, and circadian rhythm disruptions in young adults with neurodevelopmental conditions, by integrating laboratory-based and field research approaches. The project is guided by research co-production, ensuring that its findings are relevant and accessible to patients and the public.
