Dr Masahito Katsuki

Dr Masahito Katsuki is a Japanese medical doctor and certified neurosurgeon, specializing in headache medicine and artificial intelligence applications in neurology. He completed his medical degree at Tohoku University in 2016 and received his Ph.D. in Medicine from Dokkyo Medical University in 2024 with a dissertation on AI-based headache diagnosis and the relationship between headaches and weather. His research focuses on the intersection of digital health, big data, and AI, with a particular emphasis on developing predictive and diagnostic models for headache and stroke.

Dr Katsuki now works at Dublin City University on the topic of developing prediction models for concussion outcomes. He works internationally with many researchers abroad.
