Biography
Mingming Liu has been working as an Assistant Professor in Electronic Engineering at DCU since Sept 2019. His current research interests include machine learning/deep learning, reinforcement learning, federated learning, intelligent control and applied optimisation techniques with applications in many domains.
He has been involved in six EU H2020 programmes across domains of smart vehicles, smart energy, smart transportation, smart healthcare, 5G and IoT, acting as technical lead and work package lead when he was in IBM Ireland lab prior to DCU.
He has secured over 900k funding as PI for research projects since June 2018. He has published over 40 papers in his research fields with an overall impact factor greater than 60.
