Raza Abidi

Dr Raza Abidi completed his PhD in Computer Application Technology at the Shanghai University, Shanghai, China. The research area is Machine Learning and Data Mining under the supervision of Professor Wu Zhang. His research interests are focused on Intelligent Tutoring System (ITS) and Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs).

He investigated the student's psychological ambiguities and inquisitive learning behavior and aptitude in an online learning system using machine learning techniques to evolve a consistent green educational environment in which every learner shows a significant role in ecological development and become a liable member of society.

His aim was to utilize the advanced skills in data analytics and machine learning to apply them to the challenges of behavioral conditions in students learning in a MOOC environment. He also worked in the industry as a senior post in data analytics where he exhibited various projects using Robotic Process Automation (RPA) using UiPath studio, and used other tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Impala SQL engine using Hue Editor, SAS Studio and Visual Analytics (VA), and Python.
