Susan Byrne

Susan Byrne (RCSI and Children’s Hospital Irl) is a paediatric neurologist in Children’s Hospital Ireland and a Senior Lecturer in FutureNeuro/Department of Paediatrics in RCSI. Her interests are the genetic mechanisms underlying abnormal brain development with specific focus on neurogenetic disorders of childhood. Her appointment strengthens FutureNeuro’s clinical genetics base and connections with the Irish clinical network. Having previously worked as a paediatric neurology consultant in the Evelina London Children’s hospital, Dr Byrne brings valuable international collaboration.
