Tahar Kechadi

Professor in the School of Computer Science in UCD, Tahar’s expertise spans data mining, big data analytics, large-scale data privacy, management, and storage, and cybersecurity.

Tahar is interested to work with fellows to develop elaborate mining processes and to apply deep learning to identify brain lesions or neurological features and incorporate semantic elements in the learning process to improve accuracy and reliability.

Prospective fellows should have experience in machine learning (especially deep learning), Spatio-temporal data mining techniques, semantic-aware systems, and some experience in medical image processing.
